Right now, we stand at a critical crossroad.
At our recent meeting on July 23rd, our board of experts debated a defining issue: the growing influence of Islamic frameworks in Texas and the strategic steps required to counter it. This discussion raised foundational questions that demand definitive answers:
Should Sharia law be explicitly prohibited in the State of Texas?
Does the First Amendment protect Islam in the same manner as other faiths?
Is Islam legally recognized as a traditional religion under our foundational definitions?
Ultimately, why does this distinction matter?
Answering these questions firmly is vital. This moment will shape not just the future of Texas, but the future of constitutional governance across America.
What Is at Stake?
Sharia is a religious, legal, and moral framework derived from Islamic scripture. It governs personal conduct and, in some nations, serves as the primary basis for civil law. However, most Americans do not realize that its depth and scope extends far beyond what is commonly discussed in public forums.
The Core Issue
The core issue is straightforward: Texas civil law must be rooted exclusively in the U.S. and Texas Constitutions, not in any alternative religious legal system.
To preserve a cohesive society, all citizens must assimilate to our foundational principles. These principles are defined by a rich heritage derived from Judeo-Christian values and the governmental foundations established by our forefathers.
Protecting Constitutional Integrity
This debate is not merely about personal faith or community. It is a critical examination of whether any legal framework outside the Constitution should ever be applied in Texas courts or local governance in ways that conflict with our fundamental American rights. This is precisely why Texans are engaging in these vital and heated discussions today. Across the country, a growing majority of citizens have reached a turning point, declaring, "Enough is enough," in the face of imposed, shifting cultural norms.
Texans are waking up and recognizing that things do not have to be this way. We hold the collective power to protect our heritage and ensure that the madness and invasion from within stop. (The emergent enemy in the West is wokism/Marxism combining with Islamism in an attempt to destroy the American way of life.)
If our country is to survive, and if we are to leave our children the same inalienable rights afforded by our Constitution that we have enjoyed, then there can be only one national language, one national anthem, and one national ethos—PERIOD! Otherwise, we descend into socialism and totalitarianism. We must not let the globally influenced woke agenda prevail against our values and traditions.
Exerting Influence to Combat Islamic Forces
So where does this leave us, and what do we do about it?
The first step is to make sure you are educated and remain awake to what is actually happening in this overt, silent war. Educate your friends, your children, and their children.
Next is to speak out firmly against any liberal-supported actions, such as the use of Islam and Sharia law to erode our freedom and faith under the guise of peaceful coexistence. Do NOT be duped into compromise. The intent is beyond obvious, and we must act—not sit idly by while becoming outnumbered. Push hard for conservative agendas and bills brought before the House and Senate during the next legislative session. In that regard, write and call your representatives and let them know your concerns.
Be active in our club. Simply being a member sends a tremendous signal that we are stronger together and aligned with constitutional values, with a desire to protect this country far more than those who seek to undermine it.
Lastly, remain strong and united! Pray daily for our country, our state, and our community. We can, and we will, save Texas and the United States from being destroyed from within by working together.
