Founded in 1994, the Lake Travis Republican Club (LTRC) is where conservative voices come together to make an impact. We proudly support and promote the election of Republicans to local, state, and national office. Our members include Republican activists, business leaders, candidates, and elected officials—united in advancing conservative principles at every level of government in the Lake Travis area.
With more than 200 active members, LTRC is the heartbeat of Republican activity in western Travis County. We’re committed to growing the Republican base, defending Texas values, and keeping our community strong.
Hello, this is Gerry Ward, the President of the Lake Travis Republican Club.
I am also a Director of True Texas Project (Hill Country) and the Vice-Chairman of the Travis County Republican Party. It is a great honor to humbly serve you.
My main focus is on the Lake Travis Republican Club’s mission. I will be working hard for you, our club members, now and into the future. Know that we will have a new and energized focus as we grow and expand our club membership in the Austin area. We are aiming high with very ambitious goals. We WILL be known as the premier conservative organization providing education and activism. In addition to our regular monthly afternoon (and occasional evening) membership meetings, we host many monthly and yearly social events as well. All themed -- “Party with a Purpose.” In most cases we provide spectacular speakers at our events. There will be something for everyone as we move forward with a broad scope and steadfast purpose supporting our mission goals.
As Charlie Kirk proved--one man (or woman) CAN make a difference! Even someone who is not an elected official, but an ordinary U.S. citizen willing to speak out on the differences between
right and wrong, good and evil, and to stand up for the protection of all who hold differing ideas
and thoughts. Just like the slogan “Fight, Fight, Fight,” we will carry on Charlie’s mission of righting the wrongs; dispelling falsehoods and lies spread by liberal media and misguided Americans.
Many good Americans have been deceived by Islamic terror organizations, socialist, and globalists who seek power and control. From my perspective, the United States is the only nation standing firmly in their way. We MUST remain strong. Hundreds of thousands of patriots have rallied to the call through courage and sacrifice. We must remain unified to become victorious in the ongoing war for our morality and justice. Our shared love of patriotism and passion for what is good and right will repel any invasion of Texas and help to save our country.
I humbly ask that you join us in creating a powerful synergy of local conservatives banding
together by joining the Lake Travis Republican Club. We will be vocal and unified in our activism. The synergy generated by working together will ensure a strong community of values which we hold dear. We simply have too much to lose by ignoring what is happening in our world today.
Our country was founded on Christian principles and hard work. Sitting around and complaining simply isn’t an option anymore. It’s up to us—all of us—to stop the spread of evil attempting to distort our American values and turn our beloved nation into something it was never meant to be.
So, join us. Let’s pick up that torch and move forward without fear or intimidation. Join us in an
effort to correct the mistakes of the recent past. Join us in a movement that will be
unstoppable! Help us build a great “Lake Travis Red Wall” that is impenetrable to the
Democrats and state—loud and clear—that we will take it no more!
In my very first statement as your Club President, I made the bold comment to our Board members: “I don’t believe in the word ‘can’t.’ There is always a way!”
Joined together collectively, we can turn around this country, this county, and our Lake Travis community. We CAN make a difference !!
